Urban search and rescue crews rescued 2 people from an island that was surrounded by high fast moving water of the Coyote Creek. One patient had minor injuries. Soon after this rescue the same crews responded to another rescue farther down the same river. Shortly after that patient was rescued all of the same crews responded to the South Bay Mobile Home park for reports of major flooding and residents needing help evacuating. USAR 34 A&B while in route to another call in a different part of the city came upon 2 cars trapped in the middle of the road which was flooded. None of these crews are having a slow day. Stay safe out there.
